Hyundai Tablets to be Sold in Russia

Hyundai, an international company headquartered in Seoul known for its cars, is making plans to roll out three new Android tabs boasting 7-inch, 9.7-inch and 10.1-inch displays in the Russian market. For now, these Hyundai tablets will only be sold in Russia.

With Hyundai proposing to make foray into the electronics section, it is aspiring to detain 7-8% of the Russian market by 2015. Moreover, it is eying to market around 200,000 tabs during the initial year.

The Hyundai tablets would not provide anything surprising, but it would be a ‘me too’ offering at best. The most affordable tab from the Hyundai stable is HT-7B that will come with exciting traits including 7-inch 1024×600 display, 1 gigabyte of random access memory, Wi-Fi, Global Positioning System, 2 mega pixel front camera, 0.3 mega pixel back facing camera, 8 gigabyte integrated storage, 4000 mAh battery, 1 gigahertz Samsung processor. This new tab will carry a price label of 7000 Russian Roubles. Similar tab will also be offered with an integrated 3G modem and Navitel navigation system, and obtainable at a premium of 1000 Roubles at 8000 Roubles.

The other Hyundai tablet model is named as Hyundai HT-9B. It comes packed with 9.7-inches 1024×768 IPS display, 1.2 gigahertz Cortex A8 central processing unit, Mali-400 graphics processing unit, 1 gigabyte of random access memory, 16 gigabyte of storage space, 2 megapixel back facing camera, 0.3 megapixel front facing camera, Global Positioning System, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 ports, HDMI port and 5600 mAh battery. Hyundai HT-9B is priced at around $270.

The third model named as Hyundai HT-10B will be priced around $311. This tab computer will come with 10.1” 1024×600 display, 1.2 gigacycle per second Cortex A8 central processing unit, Mali-400 graphics processing unit, 1 gigabyte of random access memory, 16 gigabyte of storage, 2 megapixel back facing camera, 0.3 megapixel front facing camera, integrated 3G, Global Positioning System, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 ports, HDMI port and a huge 5600 mAh battery.

All these newly announced tabs will be functioning Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
