Mozilla has launched the much awaited Firefox for Android, thus giving its chief financial provider, Google, a stiff competition on mobile browser sector.
The non-profit open source organization has highlighted a list of details which wins over the innate browser on Google’s smartphone or tablet code. It is much faster and provides a string of performance, safety and usage improvements, containing a new Awesome Screen interface and also supporting the software Flash for viewing videos and playing games.
Mozilla has customized the tab browsing, Sync and add-ons functionality for surfing and contained in brand new HTML 5 capabilities and the salient features of its desktop displaying such as Master Password, HTTP Strict Transport Security and Do Not Track. The Awesome Screen is accredited by Firefox Sync and allots bookmarks, settings and history to these sleek devices.
Mozilla announced on Tuesday that the new Firefox gives people a powerful Web with a quick start-up feature, a new appearance, Flash support and Firefox Sync to provide access to Awesome Bar history, saved passwords, bookmarks and open tabs across computers and Android phones. The claim came with confidence from them that Firefox for Android has a good speed and can be customized easily, and proclaims industry-leading privacy and safety features.
