There was utter sense of disappointment when Toshiba announced that its much awaited Android Ice Cream Sandwich tablet has been delayed profoundly for its release. The new generation tablet was said to have the capability of supporting Android 4.0 and updated also for Thrive 7-inch and 10-inch tablets. Computerworld came up with this news. The respective company has apologized for the inconvenience caused due to the delay and also for failing to live up to the expectations of the customers worldwide.
The reason for such delay was not said by Toshiba but a blog especially for Android said that there are various reasons responsible for such delay. According to the blog, the reason of the delay might be the fact that Toshiba has some issues with the Android 4.0 ICS.
The all new Toshiba Thrive, as posted by The Droid Guy, says it has a 10.1-inch display and a processor of 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2. On the other hand, Toshiba Thrive 7 offers a 7-inch display with the identical processor. GPS, Resolution, Bluetooth connectivity and Video Enhancement is offered by both the devices.
