Amazing Alex to be launched by Rovio Entertainment

After bombing away millions of fans with their Angry Birds franchise, Rovio Entertainment is finally gearing up for its next venture that goes under the name “Amazing Alex”. Mr. Mikael Hed who happens to be the CEO of Rovio Entertainment recently appeared for a conference and gave a statement in which he hinted the release of Amazing Alex in the span of next two months. He further added that the game will be made available for the iOS and Android platforms.

The game basically circles around a boy named Alex who has a fetish of constructing things. The game has been developed keeping “Casey’s Contraptions” in mind and the intellectual property rights of the same have been righteously acquired by Rovio Entertainment. So now in case someone wanders into “Casey’s Contraptions” website, then they will come across a box highlighting the release of “Amazing Alex” soon. “Amazing Alex” apparently has a Facebook page as well.

But the game will come under lots of pressure owing to the fact that “Angry Birds” has set a benchmark for Rovio Entertainment and the latest development is that the game has finally crossed the 1 billion downloads line. So the hype circulating the game is immense.
