The word is out, finally the time has come. The much awaited Android 4.0 has arrived. The news has spread like wildfire since it was reported yesterday. The promised update of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or the ICS is finally available to some of the lucky A100 owners. The word first got out late last night when a Canadian reader of Android Police Graham shared a picture as a proof of the latest update on the blog. Since yesterday the Android 4.0 update is appearing as a pop-up under the system update option for A100 users.
Even a thread on the XDA Forum was started to confirm this news. Since then the update has been rolling into the System update option for users across the globe. We don’t have much of the detail on the ICS update but as far as we know, there is a smaller 17 MB update before the ICS downloads. You can get further details on the XDA thread which has about 10 pages of comments on the subject up till now.
You can get further updates and information through the Android Police regarding the Android 4.0 launch.
