The Japanese phone maker Sony has released the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Beta for its gaming handset Xperia Play.
The manufacturer has released an update as a part of trial and had already stated that the company wants the users to give their feedback about the update and their experience. The company is so keen about the feedback that it has issued several methods for users to submit their feedback, including the comments through a forum or by filling feedback form.
As of now, on the XDA developer forum, the responses are much positive, though most have not yet revealed the benefits of the update. Although the company has already said that there is a need to optimize some of its games to work fine with the new ICS update. The company has already started its work with the big gaming parts and is trying to find solutions with several gaming partners. But still the company is firm on customer feedback.
Due to the nature of the Xperia Play Sony is quite keen on finding the update impacts on gaming. It is already asking downloaders to try it with as many games as possible and let them know if the device is working fine.
