Instagram app for Androids on cards

Kevin Systrom, one of the founders of Instagram, has shared that a photo app for Android is being tested. The app maker which won the distinction of being the iPhone app for 2011 has gathered a huge following of smartphone photographers who socially share their work using a wide range of filters on offer. Systrom said that the iOS app had been downloaded by more than 27 million users till now.

People who have heard the news have been very enthusiastic about the app. J.J. Martinez, an organizer of SXSW Interactive said that he looked forward to trying out filters and capturing a lot of photographs through Instagram more than what he had earlier been taking with his iPhone.

Users look forward with a great deal of interest to this Android platform and how it will be turned into an interactive one. The iPhones and Android phones have varied user experiences owing to their different fundamentals.in an Android phone you will find different buttons for navigation purpose whereas an iPhone has only one button and navigation happening within the different apps. Systrom believed that this will be the best app so far produced by Instagram.
