Strategy Analysis’s latest study shows that the total sales of tablet have doubled in just last quarter of the year. The sales have reached to 10.7 million in just 3 months which includes both Android and iPad.
Apple has record breaking 15.4 million sales whereas Android has gone high to 39%. The increase in Android OS is mostly, because of Amazon’s Kindle Fire tab. Flurry reported 90% Android devices are sold each day of the 20% total consumer sessions.
Until November Samsung Galaxy Tab hold 63% of the market share, but his statistic changed abruptly when Kindle Fire was launched. And now Samsung Galaxy Tabs hold only 36 %, Kindle Fire has shot up to 36% of the market in January 2012.
Due to its so cool Silk Browser and massive media content Kindle Fire has been impressing users so well. It also holds a customized Android OS. To add to the list, Amazon’s massive online store is the one factor which is disturbing Google!
Samsung might be defeated in one way but the game is not yet over. Samsung has already started working on bringing “affordable” tabs to users. Amazon, let us warn you, may be your newest rival will be back with a bang!
