Android 2.3.6 update is available for Indian Samsung Galaxy Ace S58301 Users

For Indian users of Samsung Galaxy S5830, Android 2.3.6 is available now. This official release of Samsung will get the phone updated automatically. This update converts Android version to Android 2.3.5. The user can get the update through Samsung Kies. You can also get the firmware from Sammobile. ODIN allows you to do it manually.

S58301XXLA2/S58301ODDLA1 is the latest update. Samsung, as usual, distributes the update to all its users in groups. Enhancements and improvements are expected to come with this update. Users are advised to keep back up of all their contacts and other files, as they may get deleted during the updating process.

For all users, the company will be giving prior notification. User who gets notification can follow the instructions given in a sequential order. The user who cannot get the updates can check it on his own by selecting Menu > Settings > about phone > System Update and finally Android updates. This will get the phone automatically updated and the phone becomes functional within 10 minutes.

For checking the present software version, the user will have to select Menu > Settings > About Phone and finally Android version.
