Still waiting on the inevitable release of the Asus Eee Pad Slider? You’re time is finally here, with news the the tablet/netbook hybrid will be arriving in the US before the end of the month. The Slider takes the wildly popular Transformer design and goes one step further, with a slide-out keyboard attached to the 10.1″ tablet. Other specs match up perfectly to the Transformer and other Honeycomb tablets, with a NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, Android 3.2, an HDMI-out port, and a mini-SD card port.

This tablet was supposed to be available months ago, alongside the Transformer, but unknown delays caused this unique Honeycomb tablet to be hidden from our eyes. We’re happy to see it finally arriving, but could it be too late with quad-core tablets just months away, including the rumored Transformer 2.

If you haven’t already given up on this tablet, then you will want to start stashing some of your cash away for its release. The 16GB version will be available for $475, and the 32GB version will jump up to $575.
