If we still had any doubts about Verizon going through with the September 8th launch date for the Motorola DROID Bionic, this should set those worries aside. A reader over at Phandroid was watching George Lopez and during one of the commercial breaks an ad came around to announce the arrival of a new DROID phone. At the very end, just for a second, there is also a big ’09.08.11′ plastered in the center, which definitely tells us that September 8th sounds like a release date. If that picture above isn’t enough proof, the reader was nice enough to show us the entire ad, including the added release date at the end.
We’re still waiting on an official announcement from Verizon, but unless someone released this video early we should be seeing something in the coming days. September 8th is only a week away after all.
