Getting root access for the Motorola DROID 3 may have taken a little while, but now the rooting community is moving along quickly. Developers Framework43 and psouza4 created a one-click-method for gaining root access on your DROID 3, all you have to do is install some drivers and download the zip drive. Then plug in your phone, and run the application. This method has even been shown to give root to any other Motorola device running Gingerbread, including the DX2 and hopefully the upcoming Bionic.
