Yet another Motorola DROID Bionic caught on camera before it is supposed to. We know, it’s getting very old and we just want to see the phone in our own hands. This is the first time that the Bionic was spotted at an actual Verizon store, though. A member over at Howard Forums spotted a Motorola rep that had walked into Verizon sporting the “mysterious” device. We aren’t sure why a Motorola rep would be coming into a Verizon store to show off a still unreleased phone, but we’re hoping once again that this means that the phone is ready to be released, Verizon just isn’t ready to pull the trigger.
The Moto rep also had a laptop dock on hand, the one that as of now only works with AT&T’s Motorola Atrix. The original Bionic was not supposed to be compatible with the lapdock, but after its huge redesign this feature was added. Of course that will be an extra $150 for the dock, and the Atrix version didn’t work quite so well, so we’ll have to test it out ourselves before we get our hopes up with that.
That would also mean that the Bionic would have to be released, or at least announced, which doesn’t look to be happening quite yet. Oh well, just enjoy yet another episode of the DROID Bionic blurrycam.
