If Google wants developers to continue creating apps for Android, this issue needs to be fixed quickly. The Android Market has yet another bug that is hurting the developers side, this time taking app payments incorrectly and not giving the sales to the developers. This problem has made some people lose over half of their sales per day, and the problem has persisted for about two weeks now. Once again, this is something that Google definitely doesn’t want.
Which is why they have responded to the problem, saying that they “are aware of the issue” and are currently working on the fix. Supposedly, once the problem has been resolved, the sales that were not accounted for should be given to the developers. As of right now we have no idea when this problem should be fixed though, and Google has not figured out where the bug is coming from. Some people point to the web-based Market as being the culprit, so for now let’s try to use our phones/tablet Market to buy apps until we know this issue is fixed.
