It’s gone! The Samsung Fascinate, or the Verizon version of the Galaxy S, has been around for quite some time, but has suddenly disappeared from Verizon’s website. We’ve actually been expecting this to happen sooner or later, because we know that the Fascinate’s successor, the Galaxy SII, will be coming to Verizon sometime soon. Still, this is just another sign that the day is finally coming for the phone to be released. Rumors point to the SII being released on Verizon’s network sometime this September. If they are putting away the Fascinate, that should mean this rumor is sticking around and we’ll be hearing about Verizon’s version of the Galaxy SII shortly (either the Function or the Stratosphere).
Here’s to hoping that the leaked LTE Galaxy SII pics we saw earlier is the phone that will take the Fascinate’s place!
