Uh-Oh… New screenshot shows Sam’s Club not getting the DROID Bionic until September

Let the grumbles of frustration across the US begin. We’ve just been getting ready for the final release of the Motorola DROID Bionic at the beginning of August, with leaked screenshots galore, accessories showing up all at once, and even what could be an early mockup of its DroidDoes.com page. Everything was pointing to the ball rolling for this anticipated and delayed phone to be released soon. That was until we saw this leaked screenshot from Sam’s Club, which simply states that the Bionic release date has been pushed back to September. That’s right, the Bionic may be getting delayed yet again.

People are still trying to be optimistic about this release, saying that just because Sam’s Club isn’t getting the phone until September doesn’t mean it won’t be released until then. There is some truth to that, although the first signs of the Bionic’s August 4th release was from a Sam’s Club leak, so that doesn’t really mean good things. I will say that over the weekend a friend of mine who works for Verizon received an email stating that the Bionic would be coming on August 4th, just like we’ve been lead to believe. Of course we should also know by now that release dates are a dime-a-dozen, and it’s only the official one that actually matters.

We won’t have to wait long to find out if this turns out to be true or not. The August 4th deadline is quickly approaching, and we’ve yet to hear from Verizon or Motorola about the release. Last week everything pointed to this phone being in our hands soon, but this weeks news will be the deciding factor. Keep an eye on us as things move forward.
