Getting tired of that boring style the Android Market has been showing off lately? We agree completely, which is why this new Android Market design should have you all pretty excited. The new UI has a very WP7 feel to it, but overall it looks like things will be much easier to find and it will be a lot more fun searching. Finally added to this Market would be Movie Rentals, where you can stream or cache movies for viewing, as well book rentals. Overall we’re very pleased with the way the app works and are glad to see a refresh.
Google has announced that the update will begin hitting phones in the “coming weeks,” but if you don’t want to wait patiently there is also a download link below for instant pleasure. Just download it to your phone and install, it should install right over your older Market. This update will also only work on phones running Android 2.2 or higher, which we’re hoping you have by now. We’ve got a video demonstration below and the download link. Enjoy!
