Motorola DROID 3 coming to Verizon on July 14th

If you needed something a little more concrete on the Motorola DROID 3′s release date, look no further than this leaked document. Droid-Life was able to sneak a peek at a document showing the next iteration to the original DROID coming on July 14th, with direct fill starting on July 7th. That’s just a couple days from now, which means that shortly you should be able to call up a Verizon rep and have a brand new DROID slider sent to your house! We’ve already come across the specs multiple times, but things are looking to be pretty polished after taking a peek through a recent spec sheet.

Pricing is still up in the air, but with recent smartphone prices we can probably expect this to be around $200 on a new 2-year contract. One thing to remember is that this phone will most definitely not be LTE compatible, which is one of the few bad things you can say about this device. Other than that, and the Blur (although we shouldn’t call it that), this should be a nice addition to the DROID family.

Anyone still on the original DROID that is looking for a proper upgrade?
