NVIDIA demonstrates Kal-El graphics/gaming power

Let more teasing of the Kal-El quad-core processors commence. We are already excited for what those 4 cores can do together, and now NVIDIA is showing off some of the graphics with a homemade game called GlowBall. The game looks pretty basic, as all you do is roll around a glowing ball around an arena: hitting the star barrels in the correct order allows you to move onto the next level. It is the actual arena that is what makes this game so intriguing though. The glowing ball itself a light through the patterns on its surface, and the reflections are all calculated real-time rather than being pre-set animations. The curtains and barrels also react to your tablet’s accelerometer, fluttering and rolling with your movements. In the teaser, NVIDIA also turns off two of the cores to show how well the game plays using only a dual-core processor. Check out the video below and see yourself how the game, and the Kal-El processor, look.
