Asus Eee Pad Slider launching soon, more details to come during Computex

With all the news coming about the Asus Eee Pad Transformer and now a phoneblet, we’ve almost forgotten about the Eee Pad Slider that was also coming from Asus soon. The Slider features the same specs as the Transformer, with a 1GHz Tegra 2 processor, 10.1″ display with a resolution of 1280×800, and be running Honeycomb.What makes the Slider special though is that there is a slide-out keyboard underneath the display, so you don’t even need to buy a keyboard dock like with the Transformer. Sounds like a winner there.

The Eee Pad Slider was actually supposed to have a similar launch date to the Transformer, but unknown delays have set it back a couple of extra months. Now Asus is telling everyone on Facebook that the Slider will be ‘coming soon’, with some slivers of a teaser shot (all shown above), and telling us to hold our breath for May 30th during their press announcement. Who is over the Transformer and ready for some Slider action? I know I am.
