Details for the expected Amazon tablets are flying left and right these days, and we’re sure we’ll know everything about it way before it’s released. A Silicon Valley Analyst, Tim Bajarin, has some inside info from Taipei saying that Amazon will be releasing both a 10- and 7-inch tablet before the holidays. Both will be powered by Tegra’s dual-core processor, which makes sense seeing that NVIDIA placed quad-core tablets being released sometime in the fall. This all makes for a pretty interesting tablet to begin with, but when you add that the 10″ model will be priced as low as $449, you can’t help but get excited. If you were expecting some e-ink display/LCD combo though, you’ll be sadly mistaken. While Amazon would have loved to have this combo display, but unfortunately manufacturers are still a couple years away from that kind of technology.
Now that we have a little more information on what these tablets could look like in the market, do you think they’ll stand a chance? Are you thinking of getting one when it comes around?
