There isn’t much we don’t know about the Motorola DROID X2, from what it will look like to when it may arrive, but that doesn’t mean we won’t enjoy looking at a leaked spec sheet either. PocketNow got their hands on what looks like the full spec list of the DROID X2, as well as some press shots to sway us more. As rumored, the DROID X²(X-squared) will have a 4.3″ qHD display with a resolution of 540×960, and it will pack a 1GHz Tegra 2 processor. That dual-core chipset will allow 1080p playback(through HDMI) and a higher framerate for playback/capture(26-30 fps).
Other than that, you’re getting the same phone as the DX. The 8MP camera will be able to record 720p videos, there will be 512MB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage. It will also be running Android 2.2(froyo), but it is rumored that it will be shipping with Gingerbread ready.
We’re still waiting on an official announcement, but we have heard rumors that the DROID X² may arrive as soon as this Thursday. The Samsung DROID Charge delay may have something to do with the no announcement for Verizon’s first dual-core phone. I’m sure once the Charge has been officially released, we’ll see an announcement for the DX² shortly after.
