Latest Gingerbread build for the Motorola DROID X has been approved by Verizon?

There have been a few Gingerbread builds leaked for the Motorola DROID X for quite some time now, which only leads many to believe that the DX will be sporting some official Android 2.3 soon. If you believe P3Droid, who has been part of the team leaking all these Gingerbread builds, then you should be happy to hear that the latest GB build by Motorola has been approved by Verizon. That means you are one step away from getting on the Gingerbread bandwagon stock and fully official.

There is no date set for when this will go OTA and you’ll see an update icon in your notification bar, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t prepare. You will either need to be on stock froyo(what you get from the box), or on a non-rooted version of a leaked Gingerbread build(Blur version 4.5.595). You can get directions on how to get to either of those by clicking the link below. Don’t keep your eyes peeled to the notification bar, just wait for us to let you know when it’s happening.
