Everyone has been very patient since our last post that told you all that Gingerbread(Android 2.3) ROMs were in the works for the HTC Thunderbolt. Finally, after weeks of waiting, CyanogenMod has released a pre-alpha version of CM 7 for any user that cannot wait any longer. Now, this is still in pre-alpha state, which means there are still many bugs and major parts of your phone that aren’t working properly. Also, this does not include HTC’s Sense UI, it is just vanilla Android(which you may like more anyway). We’ve got the full list of bugs below, and if you can handle those, hit the download link and flash that custom ROM action!

-USB Tethering does not work.
-Phone Testing menu does not display correct radio options. If you play with it, you will have to relfash a Stock based rom to 4G back.
-Possible Data/Voice bugs and issues.
