Who said that phones like the HTC Thunderbolt wouldn’t be getting full Sense 3.0? Well, HTC did, but that doesn’t mean that the developer community won’t try to make it happen. There is currently a Work in Progress(WIP) ROM available for the Thunderbolt that is a basic port of the Sensation ROM that has been floating around for a couple of days. With it comes most of the Sense 3.0 things that we all really want to try out ourselves.
Before you head straight to the source link and get your download on, we have some things you need to think about first. This is without a doubt not a day-to-day ROM. The screen size is off, some apps extend themselves off the screen, data/calling don’t work, keyboard isn’t working(workaround set up), sound is off, and a bundle of other things. Added to that, the Sense 3.0 lockscreen doesn’t work just yet, which I’m sure is a big reason you would want to check this out. This is just if you want to get a sense for how much you might like the newest version of Sense. Make a backup of your original ROM, you’re definitely going to need it.
