The Motorola Atrix 4G is like the twin brother of the DROID Bionic that has that one better feature so it gets more attention(1GB or RAM compared to 512GB, respectively). Other than that and the fact that they are on different carriers, they are the exact same phone. So it is already great to see that the Atrix 4G has been rooted days before its release. The guys over at XDA were on the job once a system dump for the Atrix showed up on the internet and already have instructions that want to try it out on there brand new handset. That pretty much guarantees the DROID Bionic will be rooted as well, but it isn’t all good news. Like we suspected, the Atrix does indeed have an encrypted bootloader like every other Motorola device(other than the original DROID). Sorry to anyone that was hoping for something different.
The official release date of the Motorola DROID Boinic is still unsure, but reports indicate we could see it as soon as late April.
