You’ve got to love how quick the devs can take a Honeycomb SDK preview and make a couple ROMs out of it. We have already seen photos(and a video) of Honeycomb being ported to both the DROID Incredible and the Nook. While both of these are missing some key components to actually make them a viable ROM replacement, you can’t help but be amazed at how determined some of these guys are. It is interesting to see that there are bits of Honeycomb that look they they were made specifically for phones. While it does take away a lot of the bang that makes Honeycomb so unique (regular lockscreen, no tab browsing, launcher doesn’t even work), it does show that Google has already thought about how 3.0 will work with smaller screens. We only have to wait a few more days to see what other secrets Honeycomb can offer.
