Verizon 4G LTE Event

Another great time to give everyone a checkup. We recently got through with the LTE event from Verizon, but for the most part it’s everything we thought it would be. Here are the highlights that you probably want to know about:

There will be 5 different phones that will be 4G enabled. The ones that were mentioned and showed where LG’s Revolution, the Verizon version of the Optimus 2x. Next up was the HTC Thunderbolt, which while gorgeous is the only phone announced that has a single core processor. Lastly, and what we weren’t surprised about again, is the Motorola DROID Bionic. Unforunately there are no announcments on the pricing or availability.

Next up are the tablets. Verizon announced that they had 2 tablets in their 4G LTE lineup, but the only announced tab was the Motorola XOOM. I was hoping the other one would be the HTC Scribe, but it looks like it is just the GalaxyTab. While there wasn’t an announcment on the the release date again, we did hear Sanja say something about February during the keynote.

Lastly there were some announcements from Skype, which announced video chat. EA also announced Rock Band mobile which will be an VCast App. Another great show and some good news.

More to come!
