This is definitely not what I would consider a “Pro” phone, especially considering it has the DROID name attached to it. Verizon has released press materials for the upcoming DROID Pro, which looks more like a Blackberry with its non-sliding qwerty keyboard (If it wasn’t for the Motorola tag and the MotoBLUR on the screen, I would’ve guessed that’s what it was). At the moment, the picture above and the statement below are the only thing that Verizon is telling us:
DROID PRO is a new, powerful, stronger and faster solution designed to meet both business and personal needs. The first Android™-based smartphone optimized for business use, DROID PRO is also a global-ready Android smartphone, allowing customers to enjoy wireless voice service in more than 220 countries and data coverage in more than 200 countries.
So what do you think? From some rumors, including a 4+ inch screen, an 8MP camera, and a processor over 1GHz, I’m slightly disappointed. We don’t the full specs so it could have some qualities listed above, but I doubt it after looking at it. Tell us how you feel below!
